Hidden Expedition: Amazon

Hidden Expedition: AmazonWhen a new game is released it is not often that the same care and attention that goes into the graphics and gameplay also goes into the soundtrack.

I recieved an email at the end of last week from SomaTone Interactive Audio, the highly-talented music composition company who were employed to create the immersive soundtrack, performed by a live orchestra in Germany that adds to the overall mood and atmosphere of this latest Hidden Expedition game, that follows in the footsteps of the extremly popular, Hidden Expedition: Titanic.

The game itself doesn’t bring that much new to the Hidden Expedition genre, but the graphics and overall experience are bigger and better than before. If you are a fan of ‘hidden item’ games then Amazon will definatly blow you away!

Bowja the Ninja on Factory Island

Bowja the NinjaAs the name suggests, you play as a ninja named Bowja and your mission is to defeat the evil Gi8000 (Randy the Robot). This game is beautifully drawn with highly entertaining characters and scenery that grabs your attention from the very first screen.

You control Bowja using nothing more than your mouse, clicking on objects for him to interact with (usually firing an arrow at the object) in order to try and progress towards the next level. As you continue through the levels, the puzzles do gradually harder and the very first level is quite simple and serves as a great introduction to the game.

If at anytime you find yourself stuck and aren’t able to find out how to progress, pressing the <TAB> key on your keyboard will highlight any objects on the screen that are available to interact with, this can be a great aide when some of the objects are quite small or look like they may be a part of the scenery.

Bowja is a great game with some highly entertaining levels and as mentioned previously, great graphics.

I would highly recommend this to fans of the Hapland series and cannot wait for the planned Bowja II!
